Aga backs local food for local people

According to a report by the Royal Agricultural Society of England, while 86% of the public believe that Britain should be a farming nation, only 18% buy local food.  Aga wants to change this, which is why we’re inviting local producers into our stores to talk about their produce.

Over the next few weeks a number of events have been organised.

Saturday 31st May 2008 (10am – 4pm)
The Aga Shop, 23 Queen Street, Derby, DE1 3DS

Eating local food is good for your health, makes economic sense and is good for the environment too.  The Aga local food events promise to be both enjoyable and educational.  There will be demonstrations throughout the day, discounts on Aga cookware and the chance to win Aga gift vouchers.
