On Wednesday 10th December Domain, the US home furnishings business of the Aga Foodservice Group, opened its 30th store at Natick, Boston. At 15,000 square feet it is the Group`s largest store and contains over 70 room sets and features six Aga kitchens. It will be the regional centre for Aga sales in the North East, USA. This year Domain has opened 4 new stores adding nearly 40,000 square feet - 20% - to its overall selling space. Twelve stores now feature Aga following openings and upgrades during autumn 2003.
Judy George, founder and Chief Executive of Domain, is responsible for Aga`s US retail expansion. "Creating an anchor store showcasing all Domain ranges and with fabulous Aga kitchen`s was central to our development plans. The Natick store, here in Boston, will be a great business driver. Coming out of such a tough year for our sector, the product and locations we now have give us great optimism for 2004."
